The Albuquerque Fiber Arts Education Committee is made up of representatives from each of the Council’s participating guilds. Our purpose is to provide exposure to and education in the fiber arts disciplines in Albuquerque and the surrounding area. We promote public interest in and foster individual development of artists and others. Our goal is to ensure the continuation of the various fiber arts fields. We accomplish this through partnerships with the many fiber arts organizations in the area, and by sponsoring opportunities and events such as fiber art shows, educational exhibits, traveling educational materials, and resources for educational requests.

All are welcome. Rebecca is currently on the Fiber Arts Council, and still finds time to create!
